Soaps and Socks:

Well, unlike HRM Aesa, I have determined that an excess of surfactants is NOT a problem for the people I work with. So the ladies who seem to adore scented candles and my boss who likes to work out will all be receiving hand-made soap. With the exception of my sock-obsessed Admin who will be receiving a pair of wool socks that look something like this:



I don't want to be the office scrooge or anything, but I *am* leaving for Paris in less than a week... I need my allowance, small as it is, for buying souvenirs! So all my colleagues will be receiving cheap-to-make presents that require a certain amount of skill/knowledge to produce. The lady who stole my fishy hat won't be getting anything... Except for her "Swedish Fish Hat." (I originally intended for it to be a Jara fish, but Swedish Fish actually has a better ring to it.)

I do still need the knitting needles. I would really like the ones from Knit Picks... The link in my entry is to the web site from whence they may be ordered - you won't have to get up from your desk even, provided you have your credit card handy...
