Look! Look! It's mine and it's functional and beautiful!



I need to spin the weft out of the gold wool that I bought at the Sheep and Wool Festival, and I need to build my tensioning device so that I can warp the loom without assistance, but! But! AUGH!

Today the satellite dish guy is coming to install a new HD DVR upstairs so that the Friediness will have TV in his "man cave" and I will have TV in my "studio," but soon I will be ALL SET to watch crime dramas while working with string! I'm so excited I could just burst!

Also, i finished Masha's sweater:



This sweater is meant to be her payment for helping me clean out and organize my studio to make room for the beeeyooooteeeful loom. I hope she likes it!

Well, the view ain't much, as there are climbing vines on the back of the house, and even though Zig cleared my window off, their little suction cups have gummed up my windows and screens to where it's really hard to see through the window at-all... But I have a nice TV and Maggie and Jasmine for company, so it's all good.
