Dress1 Eithni requests permission to make a presentation to HrRM. Permission is warily granted.

Dress2 Eithni explains that it is a good and right thing that apprenti learn to support the Crown and Kingdom with their arts, and explains that I took a soap-making class at Pennsic.

Dress3 Presenting a handmade soap that I made and the scrubby bag made from the same fabric as the dress. (Aesa gets more soap than a person can use in a LIFETIME every time she's Queen.) Aesa is nonplussed.

Dress4 Eithni explains that despite what people may think, Queens are rarely ever STINKY. So perhaps she will find THIS more useful as Queens DO sometimes need to be DRESSED.

Dress5 Aesa realizes she's been had.

Dress6 Aesa tells the story of Stinky Queens and the need for soap.

Dress7 Aesa admires the OMG! Northshield! dress!

Shava knew the presentation was going down and that I would not be there, so she did me the extreme favor of taking this series of pictures so that I could see it all go down. As usual, Shava rawks a camera hard!

You have no idea how much I had been coveting that fabric. And trying to think of ways I could con you into making more of it, for ME! Commissions and such things. I lurve me them twills.

I'm very, very glad that you like it! I'm sure there will be others as I get better at this whole weaving thing. Whenever you're free, I'm pretty sure that we need to take the dress in a bit to make it more fitted. I was just afraid to cut the fabric so I didn't trim any of the straight pieces... Having handled the fabric enough to know that it's not going to unravel instantly, I think I'm brave enough now to trim the seams as needed to make it fit properly, whenever you have the time for a fitting.

I too was admiring your coat and would like to make a pattern off it when eithni borrows it for construction inspection.
