Shava knew the presentation was going down and that I would not be there, so she did me the extreme favor of taking this series of pictures so that I could see it all go down. As usual, Shava rawks a camera hard!

You have no idea how much I had been coveting that fabric. And trying to think of ways I could con you into making more of it, for ME! Commissions and such things. I lurve me them twills.

I'm very, very glad that you like it! I'm sure there will be others as I get better at this whole weaving thing. Whenever you're free, I'm pretty sure that we need to take the dress in a bit to make it more fitted. I was just afraid to cut the fabric so I didn't trim any of the straight pieces... Having handled the fabric enough to know that it's not going to unravel instantly, I think I'm brave enough now to trim the seams as needed to make it fit properly, whenever you have the time for a fitting.

I too was admiring your coat and would like to make a pattern off it when [livejournal.com profile] eithni borrows it for construction inspection.
