My Thing for yesterday kept me up past my bed-time in order to get finished by the deadline. However, I do think it's a pretty sock:

This was knit with the same pattern as my other brown sock only I used a commercial string of a finer gage than my hand-spun. I wasn't sure I liked the previous sock because, while it looked OK, it didn't show off all the prettiness of the pattern to advantage. I think the commercial yarn does a better job of that. I shall endeavor to knit this sock's mate shortly...

Re: You did this

Nono... I didn't knit it in one day... The point of this exercize is to clean out the Project Closet and thus we must *finish* one project a day... We don't have to START it that day... You know how bad we SCAdians get with half finished experiments lying around all over the place.

I actually cast that sock on at TOC, so it took me three days to finish. I had some quality knitting time in the car on the way home from the event, since [livejournal.com profile] eithni was driving. :)

Oh thank the gods. I was going to cry myself to sleep with inadequacy tonight otherwise. Now simple good stiff drink should suffice. ;p

But,if you only do one sock, then isn't it still an unfinished project?
Oh wait. No it isn't because it could always be a gift for a one footed friend!
LOL
I'm so impressed with how much you are getting done and how pretty it all is!
