You would think that maybe I would have trouble getting ride of the 4 leftover cakes that I was unable to give away after my party, but actually, that was not the case. I work at the university, around undergrads.

Honestly, the hardest part of being the "Cake Fairy" was transporting 4 cakes to the office with me on the bus without having any "Cake Related Incidents." Fortunately, no one on the bus got grumpy with me for filling an entire seat with boxes of cake, and I managed to get them to my office without spilling or smashing anything. And then, and then! I sent an email to my departmental email list, and the Undergrads, like locust, came and made off with 4 entire cakes, all before lunch time. There wasn't a crumb left.

I didn't give away the Stealth Adventure Cake at work because it has sentimental value and goes very well with my evening tea and coffee. Other than that, all my birthday cake is now GONE, and I have achieved the coveted title of "Cake Fairy of the Month." This department has some cake baking fiends in it, but I managed to bring in more cake than any two other people combined this month. And the Undergrads were in Awe of my Cake Producing Super Powers. Fear me and my chocolate cakes of DEATH! Ok, ok... They're not really "Death" cakes but if one were to attempt to eat them all, it would qualify as "death by chocolate..." So... That's close enough.

Is it time for Pennsic yet?

I thought I was done with cake. Right now, I wish I had brought some home with me - but I do still have stealth adventure cake, too - I even froze a piece to take to Pennsic for The Duke to share.

Mmm - stealth adventure cake and homemade coffee ice cream...

Thats amazing that you managed to get all that cake on the bus and not drop it. If it were me one of them would have gone squash all over the bus.

Work is a wonderful place to get rid of food.
