This post is strictly here for the purpose of showcasing my new icon.

Also, I am going to look at a TRAILER for use in hauling all my stuff TO and FROM Pennsic. I hope the rust levels are acceptable and that it doesn't leak! (If it leaks, I can't store my camping stuff in it year round... and storing an empty trailer just seems... wrong.)

My doctor's appointment is in about an hour. I hope she is compassionate enough to listen to me and smart enough to figure out my hormone problems. I've heard SO many horror stories about thyroid treatment, that at this point I'm going to be defensive before I need to be, if I'm not careful.

I keep forgetting to email you about your thyroid.

I've been hypothyroid for years now, and while some things improved when I started taking the hormone, not everything did.

I saw you mention Armour, and be warned, very few endocrinologists will actually prescribe it for you without a battle.

I take 175 mcg of Levoyxl a day, which is a fair amount.

How do you get a change-y iconin your icons? I can't get my LJ to do it. :/

There are several reasons why that potentially wouldn't work. The most common reason for ME is that the icon is over the 40k size limit. Since I generally animate my OWN icons, I end up tweaking the animation a bit so that it's small enough to come in under the bar. Sometimes you don't manage to get the entire .gif, so you just get one frame that doesn't move...

What are the symptoms when your icon doesn't go?

It tells me it doesn't accept that type of file, but I can't seem to save the file as something else. It's a flash, but it won't let me save it as anything else, and I'm not sure how to go about getting the type of file required...

Ah. Yes. Flash animation and animated .gif files are different things. I'm not sure how you would change a flash animation into a .gif file, but I'm pretty sure a conversion program would be required.

I create animated .gifs by having a number of "frames" (static .gif images) that I use a special program to "stick together" to give the impression of movement.

If you have an idea for an icon, I can make you one, if you like.

Is there no way to convert a flash? Blarg.

Sorry, I am probably one of the people who make others head-desk because of the lack of computer/technology knowledge I have, which is obvious to those head-desking.
