OK, so I'm busted. I've got too many projects started at once. I HAVE TO finish at least 1 of these projects soon or send myself off to sit in a corner:
I have the scarf that I randomly started from scraps in my stash... It's a maaaaagic scarf that Eithni and I have decided will look quite smashing on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ego_id_non_feci once it's done.
I also have the Persian stuff that I was *supposed* to be wearing at Katie and Ned's wedding, but failed to complete in time due to my recent medical adventures. The hand sewing is *almost done* on it. I promise to get you pictures soon, if you like. The coat is based on this pattern. Unfortunately, while it looks just smashing from the back, due to my EPIC FAIL at BASIC ARITHMATIC, the coat doesn't button over my boobs. However, it should be wonderful for keeping me warm on cold nights at Pennsic and during winter event's here, AND as a test of the pattern, I am willing to call it an over all success.
Plus I have that super-festive Egyptian cotton sock thing that I'm STILL knitting. I know where lots of my mistakes were made, and next time, I think I may do a set-in heel rather than a short-row heel. Also, due to the differences in tension between rows of single strand knitting and double strand knitting, I need to avoid doing any more than one consecutive row of single strand knitting, or face... Weird puckering places on the sock.
AND the sweater I was working on foreithni is *still* languishing unfinished in my office because I just haven't had time to spin another ball of yarn to finish it off...
No wonder Zig was exasperated enough to tell me to *finish something* or get it out of the living room! :-)
