So I got up early this morning after sleeping only medium well last night... I got up and took my vitamins with a glass of water. Then I drank another glass of water because I was so thirsty yesterday. Then I threw up everything in the sink.

I made Zig pancakes and berry syrup with eggs and bacon for breakfast. I had 2 pancakes and an egg for breakfast. And then reviewed them all again 1/2 hour later. (Throwing up 32 oz of water is surprising, but not entirely unpleasant. Throwing up pancakes and eggs and coffee is NASTY.)

And then I slept for 5 hours.

I was so looking forward to having an entire day to get stuff done... Not only that, but if this isn't a side effect of my medication then it's messing up my assessment of how effective the treatment is. *frustrated.*

Ummm, wait a minute... Didn't your doctor tell you to discontinue use immediately??? Or do you have something different already?

I stopped taking the medication yesterday, but the half-life of the medicine is relatively long. It takes 4-6 weeks to "show results" when it's working and it can take a while for its effects to fade from your system as well.

I looked it up and the thirstiness and vomiting and sleepiness can be interpreted as a sign that the prescribed dosage was too high. It's a good thing I have another Dr's appointment on Tuesday. Maybe he will do another blood test and we can figure out what's going on based on the fT3 and fT4 and TSH results.

Oh, I see. Yikes. :/
Good luck with getting it out of your system quickly and getting the right amount worked out! :)

Eep! Well yay for already scheduled appointments? I guess.

After many years of personal experience with upchucking, I will say that vomiting cold water one had just consumed is a surreal experience, as it is usually still cold when it returns.

Aaagh! I leave the state for five days and you have medication issues! *off to read older postings and see what actually happened...*
