I started the stupid sweater aaaaaalll over again, and followed the directions EXACTLY this time... And yet still, this sweater looks like it will be... weirdly sized. But I can't tell for sure until I get both of the sleeves done.

So I shall push bravely onward, possibly wasting several days of my life, just to find out what kind of crack the author of this pattern was smoking.... Who knows... maybe it's just one of those patterns that LOOKS WRONG the whole time you're working on it, and then miraculously turns out to fit an average sized adult and not a 4-year-old with really unfortunate-gorilla-arms... Not that I've encountered that many patterns like that, but one can always hope...

In other news, Zig and I won't be coming to fighting practice this week, because Zig's friend Nick Klein will be fighting on the Ultimate Fighter TV show on Spike tonight at 9:00 PM. I look forward to knowing who to cheer for in this fight without (for once) basing my decision on shorts color or ear size (I seem to have a mild Curious George Ear Fetish thing going on... Forrest Griffin and Joe Lauzon... It's the ears, I'm telling you.).

I MAY make it to social practice, if only because I left my new wool in Gunther's truck, Sunday night, and I'm DYING TO GET MY HOT LITTLE HANDS ON IT. Gunther says he can give it to Zartan to drop off for me... And then I will have lovely green wool to play with... Just as soon as I'm done FIGURING OUT WTF IS WRONG WITH MY SWEATER PATTERN....

And finally, I'd like to leave you with the EXTENDED VERSION of the commercial that both makes me giggle like mad every time I see it, and gives me that warm tingly feeling that either reminds me of Pennsic or an STD... Possibly both.
