This is what happens to bad dogs who annoy their mom to death with cuteness! They end up dressed in her clothes and publicly humiliated on the internet! What will all their net-savvy-dog-friends say?!
I think what Ista says is, "Your toesies smell like baby powder! TOOOOOOESIES!" She does not seem interested in the other dogs. But you don't have to tell them that. You can tell them she snickered in her sleeve.
Not at all... But they didn't try to take the clothes OFF either. Zig reported with some slight amusement that they even seemed to LIKE the shirts, since dobies don't have undercoats, and they've been rather cold of late. Unfortunately, neither shirt fit well. Maggie kept falling out of hers, since MamaDog had already stretched it some, and Jasmine is actually bigger than both me and MamaDog (who had both previously worn her shirt) and I was worried that she would be rubbed to death in the "armpits".
But both girls galumphed happily around the house in their shirts for a couple of hours, and even posed for a number of portraits, which I will now send to all my relatives for Christmas.
Despite my telling them that Ista was laughing up her sleeve at them, neither dog seemed the least bit bothered by the clothing. Actually, I figured the clothes would bother Zig the most, being as boys generally have something against dressing their pets. But Zig was amused and the girls were warm... They even went outside wearing their fancy shirts.
Silly pets. I will have to come up with other ways to torture them... Like not sharing my pizza with them.
