My work room has been tidied and organized! It ain't perfect, but it's much, much better than it was before. There wasn't room to MOVE in there before [livejournal.com profile] liz_bet and I got started. Now there's space enough for me to work on projects in there. Cleaning/organizing projects go ever so much faster when you have a friend to chat with. I continued to drink the ginger tea that [livejournal.com profile] eithni recommended and felt much better today than I did yesterday. (I had a slight headache this morning, but today I was sensible enough to take some Advil... I don't know why I always forget that I have an option other than suffering, but I do. Taking pills is something one does before going to bed. Not because of a headache.)

This evening, I'm going to try to finish up the knitting on a 98% complete hoodie sweater that I found while cleaning out the work room. My youngest sister requested a sweater for her birthday, so I guess I'll finish this one up and send it to her... Even though it was SUPPOSED to be for ME. (Luckily for me, my sister and I have very similar taste in clothing and almost identical sizing. Thus, I can play like I meant fo her to have this sweater from the very beginning. Either that or I can pretend I knit her a sweater in 3 days.... The options are endless.) Hopefully the sweater will be done by this weekend and I'll be able to ship it on Saturday.

Tomorrow, [livejournal.com profile] liz_bet and I have decreed to be a "framing day." We found a whole bunch of awards while we were cleaning out the work room and they need to be put into nice frames. (Zig's Ducal and my AoA... Not that I really give a fig about my AoA, but whoever did the artwork for it deserves an award! It's BEAUTIFUL. The same can be said for Zig's Ducal. The scroll is gorgeous, as well as commemorating an actual accomplishment.) So... There was cleaning, and now there are grandiose plans for activities to come.

My AoA is distressingly...um...well. It looks like who ever painted it took all of twenty minutes to splash some colour vaguely in the lines.

That's one reason why I paint charters now. I want everyone who receives an award to be proud to display it on their wall, no matter what time period.
