I'm sitting squarely in the middle of the couch, surfing the web with a fresh cup of coffee and a recently emptied dog (They've just been outside.) on either side of me. Jasmine is chewing her ropie and Maggie is still sleepy much in the way the toddlers are when they are tired. She's wobbly and floppy and keeps burying her face against my leg to rub her eyes.
There's nothing particularly good on TV right now, so whenever I'm done with this I'll probably play WoW for a little while, then work on finishing up that sweater. I've got nothing but free time ahead of me, and that's the nicest feeling in the world.
Hopefully my arm isn't as bothersome as it was this morning in the shower. I burned the crap out of myself last night pouring the grease off the meatloaf. The pan slid out of the pot holders and when it crashed down onto the counter, the hot grease bounced out and landed on my arm. Even though I was standing right next to the sink and got my arm under cold water right away, I still ended up with blisters all down my forearm. It was unreasonably painful last night, but this morning it didn't hurt until I got under the hot water in the shower. Then it burned like crazy. *pout* And there's something going on with the ring finger of that hand. I don't think it got burned because it hurts in a different way. It's a little swolen and the middle knuckle is discolored. It feels like it's sprained or something... The trick is, I have NO idea what could have happened to it. Mystery wound. How in the world could I stove or sprain a finger and not remember how it was done? *sigh*
So the right arm is "out of commission" for now, but hopefully it'll be better soon and I won't have a reason to whine anymore. I hate being accident prone.
