Yet again, I am floored by the Christmas generosity of my colleagues. One of the labs I support gave me a $50 gift card for Macy's and some Hazelnut Oil and Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar from Vom Fass. And a magnet with a picture of a kitty in a military outfit that says "War on String may be unwinnable, says Cat General."

Do they know me or what?

*Is trying hard not to lick her vinegar bottle...*

What can I get them all in return? I'm knitting a pair of socks for my favorite secretary, but beyond that I have NO idea...

Yum! Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar. I've been looking everywhere for that. It's excellent with pork.

And 50 bucks at Macy's? Lucky! I'd sooo love to do some shopping soon.

*grin* You could come help make the recipes I've been researching for gifts, the cookies, infused oils, candied stuff, and make some for your co-workers too.

You could make them some lovely scented soaps..?

You could go to World Market, Marshalls, or Gordman's and just shop?

i thought these were a neat idea to make yourself, - gifts in a jar. You take a canning jar or mason jar and layer the ingredients for something, such as a s'mores kit or whatnot...here's the link with ideas http://organizedchristmas.com/index-gifts-in-a-jar
