Sister Sweater:

Well... I'm only about 2.5 weeks late for the littlest sister's birthday, but her sweater is finally done.

And a picture that wasn't taken with a mirror a la myspace.com:

I hope she likes it! I'm pleased with how the intarsia looks... especially on the back side... it's very tidy. I'm such a geek.

I LOVE it!!! How cool!

I still have the Jack Skellington face pattern if you want it to put on something. I'm giving some thought to making myself a felted knitting bag with his little face on the side...

Ooo! I love the way you've done the sleeves.

Nice! I'm sure she'll love it!

Did you come up with the sweater pattern yourself? That is ultra cool.

That's a basic raglan sweater pattern. I used a program I have for embroidery to help create the Jack Skellington intarsia chart and the idea of separate sleeves came from a sweater I found at Knitty.com (http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall08/PATTcamden.html).

Amazing!

You ARE, but your products are amazing. Sigh, most of the things I'm good at are stabbing people, and you just can't hang that on a wall, can ya?

I'll teach you how to knit, any time you want... I'll even give you needles and string... Knitting is actually quite soothing and meditative for the analytical mind and scientists have found that it puts the brain into a Theta state in people who knit frequently. I think you'd actually be quite good at it.

Well, I think you sorta can... just that it might not have quite the effect you might be seeking...

Oh, very nice! I'm glad to see how it turned out!

Hi, I love what you did with Jack Skellington. It is my 6 yr old daughters favorite movie. I was wondering if you would mind sharing the chart with me so I can make her a sweater :) I saw it on Ravelry. She went nuts over it when I showed it to her! Truely Awesome :) I sent you a Ravelry PM from TeresaS on Ravelry. Have a great day!

Thank you,
TeresaS
