The only thing worse than waking up to a headache, is waking up to a headache and the realization that you can't flush the toilet, do laundry, or take a shower, because of the shit guyser in the basement...

That's right... The sewer line is backed up again, and I'm betting it's the same root problem we had last year. At least this year it waited until we got HOME from Pennsic. I've called off work today and have scheduled an appointment with Roto-Rooter. This is going to cost me $300 again... *sigh*

When it rains it pours. Zig's Durango is in the shop with alternator problems that will probably cost just as much to fix as the sewer line. In the mean time, I can't go anywhere because Zig will need to take my car to work this evening. The fates need to discuss their scheduling practices with each other. This is both ridiculous and a tetch too expensive for my liking.

The bright spot in all this is that my Friediness got me pretty purple flowers last night, sometime while I was sleeping. I'll put up pictures of them tomorrow. :-)
