I'm bumping this entry so that more people can respond, and so that I can add a request that you comment to tell me who you are and that you are or definitely are not coming. :-)[Poll #1218939]

So the idea is, this is the LAST WEEKEND BEFORE PENNSIC and we all have last minute projects to finish up. My birthday shouldn't get in the way of that, but I still want to celebrate. So we're all going to vote for either Friday or Sunday (Saturday, DameJ is helping Cybele and DT move and many people are already commited to help.) and on whatever day you lot choose, you're all invited to my house with the following 3 things:

1. A six pack (or fifth) of your favorite booze.
2. Your favorite kind of cake! (Because all birthdays should have cake!)
3. A sewing (or other portable pre-Pennsic craft) project.

For extra credit, you can also bring:
4. A gift of string for the birthday girl. (Linen or silk embroidery floss would make me squee! Lace or sock weight knitting wool would have a similar effect. For those of you who have connections that can provide you with wool or cotton roving... Surprise me! For those who really stress about color choice, you can't go wrong with Northshield colors, but really, if you're stressing about STRING... For the love of god, don't worry about it. Bring extra chocolate instead.)
5. A funny children's movie. Preferably fantasy themed. (Labyrinth, Legend, Willow, Golden Compass...)

What day is your birthday? Mine is the 19th...

My actual birthday is Friday the 18th. Have you decided what you want for your birthday yet? Zig keeps asking me what I want for mine, and I keep thinking "STRING!" but he wants to get me something DIFFERENT than what everyone else will be getting me. That's certainly understandable, but now that I have a spinning wheel, the only other thing I REALLY want is a floor loom, and god knows where I'd put that...We just don't have the space right now!

Man, that sounds like fun. But can't justify the drive right after WW.

Have you been to Off the Beaten Path Yarnhouse?

Children's movie for watching, not gifting, right? :)

Have you been to Off the Beaten Path Yarnhouse?

Sadly, no... Where is this mystical place?

Children's movie for watching, not gifting, right? :)

Correct... though I am not above demanding copies of any movies that my collection is missing from persons who pronounce themselves "late in the observance of my birthday." (Hello, younger brother... I am looking at you across the intarwebs!!!)
