I'm sure he was relatively harmless, but all the same, even he knew that he was being inappropriate or else he wouldn't have scooted off so quickly. I'd be irked by it, and rather vigilant the next time I see him crawling around nearby, so I could be ready with a swift kick... be sure to wear some spiky heels ;)
Personally, I'd equate it with a stranger grabbing my bottom in a crowd as I walked by.. worth a slap if I caught them, slightly offended at their rudeness, but otherwise just annoyed which could be cured with another drink ;)
