Good job with the roses. They smell good. I'm somewhat less impressed with the blue mold. It may be the cure for cancer, but does it have to smell like that? And does it have to be ON ME? GAH! IT'S ON ME! (Why is it never the ROSES that get on me???)

Dear ego_id_non_feci:

Please save me from myself. I have been up since 5:30 this morning, and I have only scrubbed one carpet.... 8.5x11' carpets are much heavier when they are wet... Even a game, tough-chick like myself apparently will require assistance in wrangling them once they are wet.. Now I cannot move the one carpet I have cleaned until it is dry...

If you get my phone number from Eithni and call me, maybe we can work out a deal... you help me finish the other two rugs and I'll take you to see Iron Man or Indiana Jones. Your choice.... I'll even spring for popcorn.

I have a minion scheduled to be here to help with yardwork and such at noon, so I think I will be unable to meet you for scrubbing/lunch unless you come over here. Dinner and a movie later may be doable..

Heh. No, I didn't get that one. I will now keep an eye out for other missing e-mail. (That doesn't make sense. But you know what I mean: I will keep an eye out for people who seem to think I know things I don't know, and will kick my e-mail repeatedly if it recurs.)

But I figured if we had a firm, definite plan, I would have known what it was by now, so I wasn't doing a lot of planning-around anyway. No problem.

No... It's probably my fault. I'm in the middle of an email migration for all the faculty and staff in my department, and I will admit to "experimenting" on my own email account on a fairly regular basis. I will check the logs when I get back to the office and see what happened to the mail.

I would, I really would! Can we do it tomorrow night, or are you already done? I stayed at the Resort until the last possible moment (I have event-separation anxiety issues...:) ), so I've got housework to do before tomorrow morning.
