Well... I had good intentions when I left for the office yesterday morning. Alas, I didn't make it through the work day. I called Zig to come get me at 1:30 as the "Alien Baby" in my stomach started trying to hatch again. I spiked a fever and spent most of the afternoon in bed trying to sleep through the roofers who were banging and clanging around on our roof and the pissed off squirrels who apparently sense their imminent eviction.
Needless to say, the dying I was planning on getting done yesterday did NOT get done. I just wasn't feeling up to it.
I did, however, complete a skein of rather festive green, black, and white wool/silk blend. It's not as stretchy as one would think it should be... I believe I have enough wool left for at least 3-4 more skeins of the stuff. The question is, what on earth will I DO with it? I bought the wool on a whim because it was only $12/lb which is super-cheap for wool and silk, but even when I bought it, I didn't have the faintest notion as to what I was going to do with it.

Consequently, I am accepting suggestions as to what should be done with this not-so-stretchy, funky, green, wool/silk yarn... Valid suggestions include examples such as: "Make a sweater for Giles! He likes teh wool!" and "Give it to meeeee! I love those funky colors!" and other whimsey... I have to admit that my inner Hitler is somewhat dubious about this un-regimented use of color-blending. I'm considering maybe a pair of matching socks/arm warmers for my youngest sister. For some reason she adores my knitted goods. Then again, I apparently only have 3 sweaters that I have knit for myself, and I'm discovering that WI weather calls for rather more sweaters than that... And then there's my dear laurel, who does look good in that shade of green and has no sweaters from me at all.... So. Suggestions. Suggestions are good.
Now I'm off to try and rehydrate... For some reason, I keep sweating like typing and running a marathon are in the same class of physical activity...
