Generally I don't like doing the "WTF is wrong with me??" style posts, but I am glad that there are sensible people on my FList to remind me of what I might be doing wrong. This move has been a bit difficult for me in that it disrupted the carefully constructed set of habits that I had acquired in Pittsburgh. That last post has reminded me that:
1. I still don't have a good exercise plan/habit in Madison. I NEED one. The problem being that there aren't many exercises that I don't find to be miserable boring.
2. I need to be more careful of what/when I eat.
3. I need to find that stupid full spectrum light, since I'm not working the night shift anymore and no longer have an office with either a window or full spectrum lights. (CMU was a wonderful place to work. Not only did they let us take classes for free, but they recognized the importance of light with regard to the health of their staff. All offices that did not have windows were affixed with full spectrum lighting. I never really noticed how cool that was until I got an office without.)
4. I really like having sensible friends who take the time to hang out with one another regularly. Routine social interaction is something I GAINED in moving to Madison, and I am loving it and all of you! You people are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
