Both of my computers are now toast. Both the business machine and the personal one. At least the business machine is under warantee, but it will take about a week for it to be repaired.

I shall TRY to get in and keep you posted, but I have had a miserable last week with no compy here in Boston. I've been hiding out in my hotel room, avoiding Paul-the-Stalker, and calling everyone in my phonebook for entertainment once night and weekend minutes started at 9:00 PM.

I'm so behind on everything. I'm going to be so freaking broke for the next couple months. Moving costs a LOT. So much for paying off my credit cards... *sigh*

I miss you all, my fine, internet friends.... Be assured that I shall return as soon as I can!

Just keep repeating to yourself, broke but worth it, broke but worth it....

you'd be more broke

if you'd listened to me, and moved out here to australia.

anyhow, {{{mightyjesse}}} have lots of internet hugs, and thoughts and stuff, and I'm going to bed.

awwww.. sorry to hear that you've had such a crappy week :P Just remember that once you survive this weekend, things will start to settle down and even though you're broke, I'm sure you and Zig will come up with *some* form of entertainment. I know it will be tough, but I have faith that you two will manage ;)

And one of these days, you'll have to make it down the street for a visit. oooo.. and once Tenney Park freezes over (the ice started forming just last night) we're taking you guys ice skating! :)

That sucks about the computers :( And I SO get how moving is friggen expensive. That's also why, despite being very sick all week, I still went to work every day. Gotta get that money! I hope things start to look up for you!

Oh, ever so worth it. There isn't even an ounce of doubt in my being... I was a bit melancholy about leaving my darling MamaDog behind, but she's taken to my brother quite strongly. Follows him around the house just like she used to follow me. She's now laying at my feet, but still has not admitted to having missed me. I have a feeling that my brother has been spoiling her a bit in my absense.

He will be going to Chiropractic school in Florida this May and called to ask if he could take her with him. I'm glad that he's not just her care-taker, but has taken her on as HIS doggie with a startling degree of commitment. (He won't even let his GIRLFRIEND move in with him, and he's taking the DOG with him. She's a bit... put out about that, but I'll leave that for him to sort out.)

I'm glad that my MamaGirl will be kept in the family where the love is consistent and silly. Though... that brings me to the startling realization that my dog is now like... inbred or something. Her Mommy is her Daddy's sister... or something like that. Go figure.

Of course YOU'D say that... This is, after all, just another part of your UBER PLAN... When do we get to the part with the Doom's Day Devices and Mind Control Lazers?

Where will you be moving to? I didn't catch that... i will admit to having been a bit slack in my reading, of late...

I miss you too! I'm so sorry you're feeling sick. But like M'ris said below... keep repeating the mantra: "This will be worth it..."

Either that or, "GODDAMN IT IN THERE, YOU'D BETTER BE CUTE!"

;-)

Ah, I see you know too much already. Fortunately, I have been able to remotely install a hypnotic software subroutine on the computer upon which you are viewing this message. Henceforth you will imagine this knowledge to be part of a clever jest. and nothing more. Wake, now, and be about your business.

Lucky MamaDog, to have a whole pack of good monkeys and not just one.

I moved back to Brookings, which is my college town. Not that far from where I was living before, but for some reason I really like this town. I was out of work for like 2 months before hand, plus the previous 3 before that I was doing an unpaid internship,(though I did have some income) so I was very poor when I moved. But with my help of my mom and some savings I'm doing ok. I can't WAIT till the 8th though when I get my big fat paycheck!
